flujabsElderly Checks

If you are over 65 our specialist nurse Pat Kelly will make arrangements for you to have an annual check-up at home or at the surgery. This service provides physical, psychological and social care for the patient and their carers and where appropriate treat or refer on according to their individual need.

The practice offers a specialised diabetic service. You will be invited several times a year for a review. If you experience any problems between your reviews please speak to the practice nurse. If you feel you may have symptoms of diabetes i.e. weight loss, blurred vision or increased thirst, then book an appointment for a simple test to exclude diabetes.

We offer appointments for blood tests at the practice. Some clinics start at 8.30am, ask at reception for an appointment. Your results are usually back and have been reviewed and commented upon within 5 days. Your results are your responsibility, please call for results after 2pm.
